About 200 Western Connecticut State University students volunteered to participate in a Day of Service to assist Danbury residents and nonprofits. The goal of the Day of Service was to help the community, to recognize WCSU students and their commitment to community, and to create an awareness of the opportunity and the value of volunteerism as part of a college education.
