Area voters to pick successor to Scribner, decide fate of Schlumberger land

Voters in Brookfield and parts of Bethel and Danbury go to the polls Tuesday to fill a vacant seat in the state House of Representatives , while Ridgefield voters will be asked again to rule on the fate of the former Schlumberger property. In the statehouse contest, voters will select a successor to longtime Rep. David Scribner , who resigned earlier this year to take a seat on the state liquor commission.
