Nurse awarded $400k in job suit

A federal jury awarded $400,000 to a Brookfield nurse whose job was terminated after her family and medical leave expired and who was then turned down for other positions in the company. A Bridgeport jury found Thursday in favor of Connie Sue Summerlin , a registered nurse, against Almost Family Inc. , a private home care nursing agency with offices in Danbury.
