Treehouse Comedy, which had its last show about 1 1/2 years ago at the Holiday Inn in Danbury, will have its opening night on April 17 hosted by John Romanoff, 2012 grand champion of the "Funniest Comic in New England" at Coyote Maverick, the country-music bar on Newtown Road.
