Danbury plans to set up police memorial

A city police officer who was killed by a hit-and-run driver as he rode his bicycle to work four years ago will be honored with other fallen officers and city firefighters under a plan by the City Council to knock down an abandoned house on Main Street, pictured, and create a memorial park in Danbury, Conn.
