A 21-year-old city woman turned herself in after hitting a blind pedestrian and fleeing the scene late Friday night, police said. Stacie Quinones, of Irving Place, Danbury, turned herself into police at about 11:30 p.m. Friday and was charged with evading responsibility, failure to yield right of way to a blind pedestrian, operating a motor vehicle with registration or license suspended and criminal violation of a protective order.
