The final analysis of the Election Day victory of Gov. Dannel Malloy showed a big upswing of votes for the Democratic incumbent in the Danbury area, the Hartford Courant reported. Danbury accounted for a swing of 2,337 votes for Malloy as the city shifted from a huge backing for Republican Tom Foley to a solid city for Malloy, the Courant said.
