Danbury driver cited for hitting woman, child

A woman and a 6-year-old boy suffered minor injuries Wednesday night after they were struck while in the crosswalk on Main Street, police said. Cindy Espinal , 25, of Danbury, and the child were transported to Danbury Hospital and released Wednesday night, a hospital spokeswoman said.
