Driver Ticketed After Hitting Mom, Child In Danbury Crosswalk

The 68-year-old woman who struck a woman and her child in a crosswalk on Main Street on Wednesday night was ticketed by Danbury police. Estelle Schneider of Danbury hit Cindy Espinal, 25, and a 6-year-old boy who was with her while they attempted to cross Main Street in a crosswalk at about 6:15 p.m., police said.
