PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. A Danbury, Conn., man is facing a misdemeanor charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, according to Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith. Deputy Sheriff Thomas Lee stopped a motorist who had committed a traffic violation about 11:47 p.m. Saturday on Route 6 in Carmel.
