Danbury softball team suffers first loss of season against Darien

Long before she totaled 12 strikeouts in her complete game win against Danbury, Darien pitcher Erika Osherow found herself in a bit of a jam in the bottom of the first inning of her squad's 6-1 road victory. Danbury leadoff hitter Shea McNamara walked, advanced to second on a wild pitch and moved to third on a groundout to third base.
