Lidia Quilligana, 31, of Danbury was arrested and charged with first-degree assault, risk of injury to a minor and third-degree criminal mischief on March 27. The complainant told police that her daughter had been assaulted by the nanny earlier in the day, which resulted in second degree burns to the child's hands and leg. While Quilligana maintained that the child accidentally touched the stove that resulted in the injuries, the video footage showed otherwise.
