Cappiello Brothers closes in Ridgefield (News Times)
Cappiello Brothers Jewelers Inc., of 424 Main St, Ridgefield, is closing after more than 40 years in business. The former pastor of Faith Church in New Milford who was scheduled to appear in court Wednesday on embezzlement charges was not in court because his public defender had a conflict, according to State's Attorney Stephen Sedensky .

The Indian Association of Western Connecticut , in conjunction with CityCenter Danbury, will have a Jai Ho India festival Aug. A 19-year-old New Fairfield man will be arraigned in State Superior Court in Danbury Wednesday on charges of reckless driving and breach of peace after police received numerous calls Tuesday about a public disturbance involving him and a 24-year-old woman from New York.
