Emerald ash borer found in Sherman

The discovery will lead to a quarantine of firewood in Fairfield County, with no ash logs, ash materials, ash nursery The News-Times of Danbury reports that Sherman's first selectman, Clay Cope, says he's been informed of the ash borer's presence and that Sherman will cooperate to stop the spread of the insect.
