Marian Anderson, the world-renowned opera singer and ambassador for human rights who made her home in Danbury for more than 40 years, will be celebrated at the Danbury Palace on Saturday, May 10. The show will feature Grammy-nominated singer Wanda Houston performing a vocal and narrative history of the life of Anderson, who died in 1993.
