Jack Marcus, who grew up on a dirt-road farm that blossomed into Marcus Dairy, one of the city's signature businesses, died Monday at 97. Marcus's son Neil said he'd suffered a stroke in March, and had been living at his home on Southern Boulevard until the night before his death at Danbury Hospital.
