The Maine Warden Service identified the victim of Saturday's accident in Caratunk as 46-year-old Lars Otto of Danbury, Connecticut. Lt. Kevin Adam says it appears as if Otto failed to negotiate a corner on Bald Mountain Loop Trail just before 1 p.m., causing his sled to overturn and roll on top of him.
