Western Connecticut State University in Danbury will hold a meeting on Tuesday for students, faculty, staff and members of the public to learn about and comment on the Multi-Campus Hazard Mitigation Plan. The plan, which includes Connecticut State Colleges and Universities, comprising four state universities, 12 Community Colleges and Charter Oak State College, will assist the campuses in identifying and reducing risks from natural hazards, identify actions that can be taken to prevent loss of life and damage to property, and prioritize funding for mitigation efforts.
