Danbury Police Pull Driver From Car In Candlewood Lake

Danbury police rescued a 59-year-old Carmel man who was up to his neck in water after his car became submerged in Candlewood Lake late Thursday, officials said. Officers responded to a call at about 11:50 p.m. and found the car driven by Matthew Branche submerged up to its roof in the lake, police said.
