If Connecticut's employment picture looked good Monday when the state released figures showing September had the highest monthly job increase in 20 years, the picture looked even better for the Danbury area, where the unemployment rate was at a statewide low of 4.6 percent. Compare that to the statewide unemployment rate of 6.4 percent and a national jobless rate of 5.9 percent in September.
