The News-Times of Danbury reports a panel of the Board of Education voted 6-0 Thursday to terminate Anthony Bivona's $228,000 a year contract. Bivona had been on administrative leave since May. An audit last year showed district overspent its budget by $1.2 million in the prior two years.
