Whalers' goalie Brown hopes to go out on top

This will be the final season of Mike Brown's professional hockey career -- and the Danbury Whalers goalie sure would like to ride off into the sunset with a trophy in his hands. The 29-year-old Brown, a fifth-round pick of the Boston Bruins in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, confirmed in a phone interview Tuesday that this, his 10th pro season, will be his last -- win or lose.
