Danbury Woman, 20, Who Brandished Sword Against Intruders Shot In Stomach

A 20-year-old woman who brandished a sword against two intruders in her Danbury apartment was shot in the stomach last Friday, police announced Wednesday. When officers responded to 25 Town Hill Ave. at 12:25 a.m. Friday on a report of a disturbance, they found the shooting victim, police said.
