Hospital workers look to unionize

More than 800 workers with Danbury and New Milford hospitals, including service, maintenance and environmental workers, announced this week their intentions to join the American Federation of Teachers . The union already represents about 725 registered nurses at the hospital as part of a separate bargaining unit and more than 250 technicians who voted last November to join the AFT.
