FuelCell Energy to supply huge clean-power plant in Beacon Falls

Locally based FuelCell Energy has been selected as the supplier of a 63-megawatt fuel cell park in Beacon Falls that when constructed would be the largest of its kind in the world. Company officials said that besides helping to ensure sustained job growth at both their Danbury and Torrington facilities, the project also illustrates how efforts to reduce the costs of the technology have made it both feasible and competitive for large-scale projects.
