Man Faces Gun Charge After I-684 Stop

State troopers from the Brewster barracks arrested Kerzell Barnes, 30, of Danbury, Conn., with criminal possession of a firearm at a traffic stop on I-684 in Southeast Saturday night, police say. Barnes was stopped for an inadequate plate lamp, and as troopers approached his vehicle, a black handgun was in plain view on the backseat.
