Medals piling up for Danbury Flyers youth tack and field team

The Danbury Flyers youth track and field team put forth several medal-winning performances at the O'Grady Relays at Danbury High School on April 24 and 25. The boys sprint medley relay team of Zander Dargaty, Christopher Adamski, Scott Gersten and Liam Knight finished in 2:25.1 and earned a bronze medal, while the girls sprint medley relay team of Jenna Ferrandino , Briana Gilliard , Valerie Fox and Alanna Smith finished in 2:21.3 and won a bronze of its own. The 11-year-old Smith also earned a silver medal in the 800 meters with a time of 2:40.53.
