Western women advance to LEC lacrosse semifinals

Kelsey Heaton of New Milford and Lindsey Eanniello of Danbury each scored seven goals and Destinee Carey of New Milford scored six as the Western Connecticut State University women's lacrosse team advanced to the Little East Conference semifinals with a 24-11 victory over UMass Dartmouth in the quarterfinals Tuesday. The Colonials will travel to face Keene State in the semifinals on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. Western has advanced to the semifinals four of the last five years.
