Danbury eighth-graders launch weather balloons

The balloons, which were launched from the Danbury High School fields, carried GoPro cameras, GPS tracking devices and sensors to measure temperature, humidity and elevation. About 100 students were involved with the project for about four months as part of the school's Science, Technology, Engineering and Math program.
