Photo: Contributed Photo A new documentary about Paul Newman 's offscreen life racing cars is getting its state premiere at the Palace Theatre in Danbury. "Winning: The Racing Life of Paul Newman" shows how the 1969 drama, "Winning," that Newman starred in got the 43-year-old hooked on the sport, which he kept at for much of his life, snagging a class win at the 24 Hours of Daytona when he was 70. "Racing is what Newman did," Lerner said in a recent news release.
