TV success: It's all about great stories, characters

Katie Torpey, a television and film screenwriter who teaches screenwriting workshops in Ridgefield, pitched two shows in Los Angeles last week. After that, she flew back east for a weekend with filmmaker friends from Danbury, at their vacation home on MarthaaAos Vineyard.
