Mayor's Ball returns to Danbury with new name in 2015

And if the Hat City Ball sounds familiar, there's also good reason -- it's the same as the old Mayor's Ball but with a new name. Either way, the Danbury Museum and Historical Society invites you to an old-fashioned, fancy-dress ball at the elegant Amber Room Colonnade on Jan. 16. After a three-year hiatus the ball is back on the city's social calendar, trying to reclaim its old role as a major fundraiser for the museum and historical society.
