Governor calls for widening I-84 in Danbury

Connecticut Gov. Dannel P. Malloy says that widening a section of Interstate 84 in Danbury is critical for economic growth in the western part of the state. The Democrat has declared transportation improvements a signature issue for his second term and is expected to provide details of his plan in an address next month to the state legislature.
