Several Injuries In I-84 Head-On Crash

State police, Hawleyville volunteer firefighters, Newtown volunteer ambulance staffers, and a Danbury Ambulance paramedic responded to a two-vehicle head-on collision on the median of Interstate 84, west of Exit 9, late on the afternoon of February 18. Firefighters extricated a man from the wreckage. The incident caused extensive travel delays during the evening rush.
