Danbury High School senior to head to MIT in fall Honors student looks back on journey through Danbury schools As 17-year-old Sameena Shaffeeullah sifted through the confetti and balloons that came in a package along with her latest offer of acceptance to one of the country's most prestigious colleges, she also looked back on the journey she took to get there. This week, Sameena considered the dozen colleges to which she accepted and excitedly decided upon the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to study computer engineering.
