Connecticut Beatles festival announces list of performers

The Fab 4 Music Festival announced its entertainment line-up June 1 for this year's event to be held on Aug. 15. The festival, also known as Danbury Fields Forever, will take place at at Ives Concert Park, 43 Lake Ave Ext, on the campus of Western Connecticut State University, in Danbury, Connecticut, and pay tribute to the Beatles' first Shea Stadium concert 50 years earlier on the date of the event. Headlining the fourth annual festival are The Hofners, who played last year's festival and re-created The Beatles' Ed Sullivan Show song-list from 1964.
