Members of the Danbury Police Department's Special Investigations Division executed the court authorized search and seizure warrants for Jack "YS" Wessells' vehicle and an apartment he was using on George Street on May 27. The warrants were all issued as a result of an investigation that began weeks earlier in response to citizen complaints related to Wessells selling illegal drugs from throughout the Danbury area and the apartment located on George street. Wessell and his vehicle were seized as he parked on Aaron Samuels Boulevard to allegedly make a drug sale to Mark Medrano, who had also parked on Aaron Samuels Boulevard.
