A study released last week confirmed what many drivers on Interstate 84 in Danbury already know -- that sitting in stalled traffic is a big waste of time and money. Area motorists spent 28 hours and more than $1,500 for additional gas every year, to be exact, according to the study conducted by the Washington, D.C.-based TRIP research group.
