Whalers shut out Wolves

The Danbury Whalers cruised to a 6-0 victory over the Watertown Wolves Friday night in a battle of the top two teams in the FHL. The Whalers entered the game with a league-best 42 points, while the Wolves were second with 40. Danbury struck in the first period on a power play goal by Steve Brown with assists from Brett Liscomb and Jordan Ciccarello.
