Danbury sells 13-acre park to Subway co-founder for $3.2M

Danbury resident Peter Buck, co-founder of the Subway sandwich chain, bought a 13-acre city park that had been used for youth soccer.Photo: Tyler Sizemore Danbury lawmakers have agreed to sell a 13-acre park for $3.2 million to the family of Subway co-founder Peter Buck , but only after the mayor's assurances that the city would build replacement soccer fields and spend more money on recreation.
